Wedding pet handling is $110 an hour. We bring your dog to the venue, look after them through the day, and get them where they need to be for the ceremony and photos.

On the day

  • Arrive early so your dog can explore the venue before guests show up
  • Keep them calm through getting-ready photos and crowds
  • Water, potty breaks and quiet time away from the noise
  • Walk them to their spot for the ceremony, or hand them off to the person walking them down the aisle
  • Take them out of the reception before they get overtired

We can also drive your dog to and from the venue.

Bring a towel and a spare leash. Outdoor ceremonies in Maine mean wet grass and mud more often than not, and a dog in a flower crown still rolls in things.

Planning ahead

We’ll meet your dog well before the wedding and, if you’d like, do a short practice walk in their outfit or harness so nothing is new on the day. Let us know about the schedule, the photographer’s shot list for the dog, and whether your dog can stay through dinner or should go home after photos.

Photo book

Couples who book their wedding with us get a free photo book of behind-the-scenes pictures of their dogs, taken while you were busy getting married.

Our consistent clients receive Christmas presents every year and when it’s time for them to cross the rainbow bridge, their human parents will receive a heartfelt memorial gift from us. While we take our business role seriously with insurance and pet first aid certification, the most important thing to us is you knowing your pet is cherished.
