Boarding
Boarding in a real home, not a kennel
Your pet stays in the sitter's house and sleeps inside as part of the family. Choose Lindsay's lively Milford home or the quieter Portland home.
- A meet and greet before every stay
- Homes in Milford and Portland
- Honest advice if it isn't a good fit
Boarding is $75 a night. Your pet stays in a sitter’s home and lives with the household, sleeping in the house rather than in a kennel run. We board in two places: Milford and Portland.
Milford
Milford is Lindsay’s home, and she has pets of her own. Boarders here need to get along with dogs and cats. There are also rodents in the house, so a boarding animal can’t be overly aggressive toward them. A baby gate closes off the rodent area, and we expect your pet not to jump it.

Portland
The Portland home is quieter, with far fewer animals. It suits pets who are shy, older, or don’t do well with other dogs and cats.
What to bring
- Enough food for the whole stay, plus a couple of extra days in case plans change
- Medications, labeled, with written instructions
- Leash, collar or harness with ID tags
- A bed or blanket that smells like home
- Your vet’s name and number
Every boarder has a meet and greet first, and for Milford that includes meeting the resident animals. If it’s not a good fit, we’ll say so and suggest overnight sitting at your home instead.
